Anthropic Didn’t Wait. Robinhood Didn’t Hesitate. Will You?
Momentum is a competitive advantage—and momentum killers are everywhere. Here’s how to stop slowing down and start building fast.

The Silent Saboteur: Momentum Killers
There’s someone in every company who kills momentum.
They don’t mean to. But they do it anyway.
They ask for one more meeting…
They delay approval…
They wait for “just a bit more data”...
It feels harmless—but it’s deadly.
The longer you wait, the harder it gets to move.
Startups die not because of bad ideas, but because of slow decisions.

Anthropic: Speed Is the Strategy
Anthropic, the AI safety-focused startup, is now reportedly on pace for a $4 billion annual revenue run rate.
Yes, $4B.
In a space filled with noise, Anthropic just kept shipping.
They:
Focused on one clear vision: secure AI for enterprises
Built with urgency and purpose
Partnered fast (Amazon, Google), and moved faster
While others were forming “AI committees,” Anthropic was forming revenue.
Momentum isn’t chaotic. It’s intentional.

Robinhood: Reinvent or Die
Robinhood recently announced several key initiatives, including expanding into tokenized stocks and crypto, launching a new Layer 2 blockchain, and offering new banking and advisory services.
They are also expanding their crypto offerings, including staking in the US and perpetual futures for eligible EU traders. Additionally, they are building a Layer 2 blockchain optimized for real-world assets, aiming for 24/7 trading.
What started as a zero-fee trading app is now something much bigger.
Robinhood recently launched:
A new credit card with sleek design and strong rewards
High-yield IRAs (with matching)
Cash sweep accounts and Gold-tier benefits
Educational tools and retirement planning features
They didn’t wait to be disrupted. They pivoted hard and moved fast.
And they’re doing it while others in fintech are cutting back and coasting.
Out-of-the-box doesn’t mean reckless. It means willing to try what others won’t.
This Week’s Challenge
Open your calendar. Find one meeting or delay you’ve been responsible for.
Ask yourself:
Can this be decided now?
Am I slowing someone else down?
What if I just said yes?
Then… move.
Final Thought
You don’t have to be the smartest in the room.
You just have to be the one who gets things done.
Anthropic isn’t winning because of hype.
Robinhood isn’t evolving because of luck.
They’re moving with momentum—and that’s your advantage too.
Don’t be a momentum killer. Be the spark that speeds things up.
See you in motion,
